The Sioux Rapids Bulletin Press is such an enjoyable read each week. There are so many gems, from “Rebel of the Week” to “Days Gone By” in addition to the town’s activities. But my favorite, must read is “South on 71” by Ginny Smith. I get exhausted just reading about all she and Rusty do. And always with a sense of humor. I learn about new things, like the monarch butterfly nurseries. I’d never heard of people doing what she does to help hatch the much-needed butterflies. I tell others about her columns but they have to be read to be fully appreciated. Her stories remind me of Erma Bombeck’s columns, whom I always loved to read. I look forward to visiting their booth at the fair again and helping to send them home with no ceramics to pack up at the end. I encourage others to do the same. Thank you, Ginny, for the smiles each week.
