Scooter’s Coffee headed for Spencer, Iowa Great Lakes
OMAHA, Neb. — Scooter’s Coffee will be opening a pair of drive-thru locations in Spencer and Spirit Lake. Robb Steffes, raised in Spencer, and Joshua Morris, who grew up spending summers at the Iowa Great Lakes, are the franchisees of the two new Scooter’s Coffee sites.
“We truly believe in the Scooter’s Coffee brand and believe Spencer and Spirit Lake will come to enjoy it as much as we do,” Steffes said.
“Scooter’s Coffee has the same Midwestern roots and values that people in northwest Iowa expect and demand,” Morris added.
Both franchisers believe in the company’s focus on the product quality and customer service. Scooter’s Coffee offers hand-tamped espresso drinks, baked-from-scratch pastries and recently added organic hot and iced teas, single-origin coffee and cold brew and cream.
Steffes said, “We’re excited to bring something new to the area that offers families a variety of great products, at an unbelievable fast pace while not surrendering quality service.”
“As an entrepreneur, I appreciate the value of customer service,” Morris said. “... We’re excited about what the future has in store.”
Scooter’s Coffee administration is pleased to be establishing its presence in the area through its two-unit agreement with Steffes and Morris.
“We’re thrilled for Robb Steffes and Joshua Morris as they establish the Scooter’s Coffee footprint in the thriving area of Spencer and Okoboji,” Mike Rogers, Scooter’s Coffee COO stated in the franchising.com’s article. “Spencer and the Iowa Great Lakes are markets we have been eyeing as it experiences tremendous economic and population growth. We anticipate the community will be receptive of our quality coffee, superior offerings and amazingly fast service.”
