SPENCER — Monday and Tuesday, Spencer boys tennis got the sweep, starting the week off with a 9-0 sweep of Storm Lake.

“I thought we had a solid effort tonight against a young, shorthanded team,” Spencer coach Joe Steele said. “Storm Lake only had five varsity players for the meet tonight, which gave us a big advantage. But we wanted to play to our capabilities and aim for a bit more consistency than we've shown so far this year. I think, for the most part, we accomplished that.”
