Merlin B. Halverson, 82, passed away on May 6, 2024, in Lawrence, Kansas. He enjoyed singing especially in his church choir and barbershop quartet, telling jokes, reminiscing with friends and neighbors, and working in his home workshop.

Myrna Louise Heeren passed away on April 15th, 2024, at The Sycamore of River Falls at the age of 88. She was born June 13, 1935, in Sibley, Iowa to Jonas J. Onken and Lena (Park) Onken.

Floyd W. Patten, 68, of Middletown, IA, and formerly of Mt. Pleasant and the Storm Lake, Sioux Rapids and Spencer areas of Iowa, died Monday, May 13 in the Emergency Room of the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington, IA.
