Services for Ruth Arlene Coleman will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 6, 2024, at Martin-Mattice Funeral Home in Emmetsburg. Rev. Kolleen Queener will officiate the service. Myrna Louise Heeren passed away on April 15th, 2024, at The Sycamore of River Falls at the age of 88. She was born June 13, 1935, in Sibley, Iowa to Jonas J. Onken and Lena (Park) Onken.

Floyd W. Patten, 68, of Middletown, IA, and formerly of Mt. Pleasant and the Storm Lake, Sioux Rapids and Spencer areas of Iowa, died Monday, May 13 in the Emergency Room of the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington, IA.

Funeral services for Ellen Sandvig, 85, of Spencer, will be conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, May 13, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, in Spencer. Rev. Tim Hogan will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 9:30-10:30 a.m., Monday morning before the service at the church. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, in Spencer, after the services. Norman John Van Enter, son of Albert and Louise (Dykstra) Van Enter, was born on February 16, 1936 near Parker, South Dakota. 

He graduated from Spencer High School in 1953 and served two years in the army. He married DeAnne Rae Welle on December 8, 1956. They then moved to Paramount, California. In 1958, they welcomed their daughter, Tamara.
