Funeral services for Donald Dell Tibbetts, 87, of Peterson, were conducted Friday, June 6, 2025, at Peterson Methodist Church. Pastor Tylor Thompsen will officiate the service. Burial will take place at Oakland Cemetery in Peterson at a later date. He passed away Monday, June 2, 2025, at Spencer Hospital after a 15-month battle with cancer and a tired heart.

Darlene G. Hartman, from Northfield, Minnesota, and formerly Spencer, entered her eternal home on May 12, 2025.

Darlene, born May 25, 1930, on a farm near Ruthven to Olin and Lettie Watt, moved to Spencer with her family, graduating from Spencer High School in the class of 1948.

Visitation be one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, in Spencer. Myers passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Spencer Hospital. Services for Gerald Hanson, 97, of Appleton, Wisconsin, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Faith Lutheran Church, in Spencer. Pastor Ben Unseth will officiate the service. Visitation be one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be at North Lawn Memorial Park, in Spencer. Military services will be conducted by the American Legion Glen Pedersen Post 1 and VFW Post 3159. Hanson passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Dimension Living in Appleton.

Services for Allen DeJong, 88, of Ruthven, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Crosswinds Church, in Spencer. Pastor Jordan Gowing will officiate the service. Visitation be one hour before the service at the church. DeJong passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Ruthven Community Center. Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.

Pam Foxhoven, 69, of Spirit Lake, died May 19, 2025, at Lakes Regional Healthcare in Spirit Lake. A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 9, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford. Visitation will take place from 9-11 a.m. prior to the service, with a rosary recited at 9 a.m. Lunch will immediately follow Mass, and burial will take place at a later date.

Cindy Peterson Journey, 69, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025, at home following a valiant three-year battle against ALS.

A celebration of life for Jesse Winfield McCune, 42, was held Friday, 23, 2025, with visitation and fellowship, at Hartley Funeral Home Chapel in Hartley. Susan Rohan officiated the service. McClune will be placed in his place of rest in Baker Township Cemetery of Melvin.

Pam was a beloved daughter, sister, friend and faithful servant of Christ. A lifelong follower of Jesus Christ, she lived a life filled with unshakable faith.

Mary Lou Mett Larsen was born on Sept. 9, 1928, in Spencer, to Fern and Lyla Heikens Mett. She was raised on the family farm in Summit Township alongside her sister, Carolyn. She attended Summit Center country school, graduated from Spencer High School, went on to teachers' college, and later taught at country school and in Gillette Grove Elementary for a short while.
