Douglas "Herm" Berger, 60, of Ruthven, passed away Friday, Nov. 3, 2023, at the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg. Visitation will be held Monday, Nov. 13, from 4-7 p.m. at the Martin-Mattice Funeral Home in Ruthven. A funeral service will be Tuesday, Nov. 14, at 10:30 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Peter Morlock officiating. Burial will be at Crown Hill Cemetery in Ruthven. Arrangements by Martin-Mattice Funeral Home in Ruthven.
