City leaders are working to secure financial assistance for local businesses and rental property owners impacted by the June 22 flood.

Kevin Robinson, interim deputy city manager, told the City Council on Aug. 5 that he is aggressively pursuing funding from the state and federal governments to help provide a lifeline for cash-strapped businesses struggling with lost revenue and damaged inventory.
