ESTHERIVLLE — Freshman Morgan Irvine topped the five team field with a round of 86 at the Estherville Invite Monday, earning her medalist honors, and leading Spencer to the event title.

As a team, the purple and gold completed the course with a combined score of 378, 27 strokes better than host and the runner-up Midgets.

“Overall a great day for the team,” said Nathan Wendt, Tiger girls coach, “led by a few underclassmen that had their best rounds so far.”
