SIOUX CITY — A narrow 2-1 road victory at Sioux City West, battling both the cold and wind Friday evening allowed the eighth-ranked Spencer boys soccer team to improve to 7-0 on the season. The win evened the Tigers-Wolverines matchup at 4-4, breaking a two game skid to the West.
“After a week off, we had a slower start than what we wanted,” said Jesse Kuehler, Spencer boys coach. “West took advantage and scored off an early corner.
