SPENCER ― Ahead of the beginning of its run at state, Spencer’s boys hosted a track meet — which they won with 138 points — Monday, claiming top honors in a field which gave some of the elite athletes a break ahead of Districts later in the week.

As a unit, SHS had eight firsts and four seconds among the field.
