EMMETSBURG — Competing with nine teams at Emmetsburg, Saturday, the Sioux Central boys advanced Bryce Gunderson and Hunter Cooper out of the 1A District 3 Wrestling Tournament to the Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.

Beginning Wednesday, Gunderson will represent the Rebels, after finishing second at 106; and Cooper earned the district championship at 132, gaining the state berth.
