DES MOINES — Spencer boys made of its best showings in several years at the State Track and Field competition, Thursday through Saturday on Drake University’s Blue Oval in Des Moines — setting school, season and personal bests amongst the loaded field.

Wilson Hookfin, despite his excitement for his team’s showing kept things in perspective.
