Jeffery Wayne Brownmiller, 70, of Coolidge, passed away on Dec. 7, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on March 4, 1954, to parents Harland Brownmiller and Barbara Jones in Cherokee.

An celebration of life for Lorelei Meeter, 65, of Spencer, will be conducted at Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025, at 10 a.m., at Hope Reformed Church in Spencer. He passed away Thursday, Dec. 12, 2024, at Encompass Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Benjamin John Heien arrived in this world Aug. 14, 1988. It may have been one of the few times he was actually early! He was welcomed by parents, Marc and Connie, along with grandparents, Johnnie and Ardis Heien and Lloyd and Beulah Ahrenstorff. Ben was Marc and Connie’s only child. They didn’t feel they could improve on this fine little fellow … Ben was perfect.

Robert Merle Faulkender, son of Jesse Merle and Frances Faulkender (Yost) was born on June 27, 1943, Spencer. Robert was the middle of five children. Robert attended country school, Summit No. 6 until seventh grade when he later attended Spencer Community Schools and graduated in 1961. After graduation Robert joined the U.S. Army. He was stationed for two years in Germany as a mechanic after his basic training in the states. He gained the rank of specialist fifth class.

Wendell Anderson 96, of Spencer, passed away on Dec. 9, 2024, at St. Luke's Nursing Home in Spencer. Visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 17, at First Christian Church in Spencer from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 11 a.m., followed by graveside services and lunch with family and friends afterward.
