CHARLES CITY - Floyd County along with six other counties filed a motion on Friday, July, 19, asking the Iowa Utilities Commission to reconsider its decision approving an application for a carbon dioxide pipeline across the state.

They were joined on Monday, July 22, by seven other groups and organizations also asking the commission to reconsider its decision. The deadline to file for reconsideration was Monday.
