The Clay County Community Foundation has activated a disaster recovery fund to channel monetary donations to area nonprofit organizations helping county residents recover from the June 22 floods.

“The Disaster Recovery Fund is for immediate needs and is designed to be flexible to quickly give funds,” said Terri Batschelet, the organization’s executive director.
