Do you feel attractive ?
Do you like what you see?
Or do you condemn
The person called "me"?
When you look in the mirror and ask yourself the above questions, what's your answer?
You are valuable, talented and blessed with special gifts the good Lord gave to you, specifically. All you have to do is believe in yourself. Don't believe your persecutor's comments. He/she doesn't know you at all!
If you lack in self-confidence, there are ways to build it. Again, it starts with you. No one else can do this for you. Ask your friends what they like about you--your smile, perhaps? The go to the mirror, smile and tell yourself about your great smile until you believe it. It is necessary to do a lot of positive self-talk--no negative.
I want to remind you the importance of choosing your friends. People can build you up or tear you down. You, alone, can give people permission to do either.
You know when you have self-confidence because you will realize that you are worthy of the best in life and nothing will keep you from obtaining it. At this time, the self-respect and self-esteem will fall into place. You will value your life and yourself. When you look at your bully, your eyes will be open to understanding such actions and forgiving him/her. When you have self-confidence, you can do anything. Without it, you can do nothing.
Closing thought: Confidence is not "They will like me!" Confidence is "I'll be fine if they don't."
