New Year's resolutions

Monday, January 4, 2021

If necessity is the mother of invention, then brevity just might be a relative. This new year, resolutions may look different than in past years. Maybe making one or two would be sufficient. For instance, Glen Campbell had the right idea back in the '60s with his "Try a Little Kindness" hit. I bet many of you recall the lyrics. If not, here's a sample: "If you see your brother standing by the road, with a heavy load from the seeds he sowed. And if you see your sister falling by the way, just stop and say you're going the wrong way. You've got to try a little kindness and overlook the blindness, shine your light for everyone to see ... and so on. Try some, and shine. For sure, in 2021, it will really help our situation.
