Coronavirus threat as seen by Trump
Sunday, March 8, 2020
Comments made by President Trump on the Hannity show concerning the coronavirus outbreak disputed everything the World Health Organization has warned us about including the mortality rate of 3.4%.
Trumpís exact statement: ďWell, I think the 3.4% is really a false number. Now, this is just my hunch, and ó but based on a lot of conversations with a lot of people that do this. Because a lot of people will have this and itís very mild. They get better very rapidly. They donít see a doctor. They donít even call a doctor. So if, you know, we have thousands or hundreds of thousands of people that get better, just by, you know, sitting around and even going to work ó some of them go to work but they get better.Ē
After hearing this statement, itís hard to believe our president has any concern for the health and safety of our people. It would be tragic if his cult like followers accepted his words and acted on them. Unfortunately, they have accepted his dismissal of our scientists on climate change, dismissal of our intelligence agencies on Russia/Ukraine interference, and his actions to restrict entry of immigrants of ethnicity and religion he doesnít approve of.
Now itís time for our populace to decide: Will we continue to allow this man to hold office or should we find a new leader?
