Pair of Sanborn residents arrested on warrants

A pair of Sanborn residents were taken into custody on warrants by a Clay County Sheriff’s Office deputy on Tuesday evening.

Dawson Walker

Shortly after 9 p.m. Dawson Walker, 20, of Sanborn, was placed under arrest after the Clay County Sheriff’s deputy took custody of him from an O’Brien County Sheriff’s deputy in the 1100 mile of 400th Street. He was transported to the Clay County Jail on an arrest warrant for the original charges of ongoing criminal conduct and conspiracy to commit a nonforcible felony.

Joy Farence Walker

At 10 p.m., a Clay County Sheriff’s deputy met with Joy Farence Walker, 18, of Sanborn, at 3115 W. Fourth St., and arrested her on a warrant for the original charges of ongoing criminal conduct and forgery.

Both Walkers were held in Clay County Jail on a $5,000 cash or surety bond.
