Hana Mochizuki, 97, passed away in Sylmar, California. She was born in Los Feliz area, Los Angeles, California. Hana grew up in Lake View Terrace, California, on the family flower ranch and attended San Fernando High School, California. During World War II she and her family were interned at Manzanar, California. Hana was born on Dec. 5, 1920, and passed away March 28, 2018.
Hana and her husband Minoru were chicken sexers and later owned and operated The House of Min restaurant in Spirit Lake, Iowa.
She is survived by four children, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
