Iowa Great Lakes Lutheran School may be starting a new tradition. The elementary school has qualified four archers in the Iowa State National Archery in the Schools program tournament Saturday and Sunday at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines. This is the first year IGLLS has had archers qualify at the state level. (Above) Fifth-grade students Micah Iedema, Conner Essick and Weston Newton, and fourth-grade student Abbey Crew will represent the school in a field of approximately 2,200 archers from across the state.
