State auditor to join local legislators for first of 3 legislative public forums

The Community Development Division of the Spencer Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend the 2018 Eggs and Issues sessions. The first forum, from 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, in council chambers at Spencer City Hall, is scheduled to include area state legislators: Sen. David Johnson, Rep. Megan Jones, Rep. John H. Wills, Rep. Dan Huseman and Iowa State Auditor Mary Mosiman.

This event is a great opportunity for you to meet area legislators and discuss the issues which affect Spencer, Clay County and northwest Iowa.

Arvin Druvenga, with Winther Stave and Company — host of the first Eggs and Issues — will serve as event moderator.

Rep. Dan Huseman

Two additional Eggs and Issues will be conducted on Saturdays, Feb. 17 and March 10.

U.S. Sens. Joni Ernst and Chuck Grassley, U.S. Rep. Steve King and many others have been invited to attend any and all sessions if they are in the area.
