The Clay County Fair brings with it a twist on the local sporting scene, featuring animals, dirt tracks and rodeo arenas in comparison to the usual fields, courts and pools. Sunday’s action on the fairgrounds featured the Chuckwagon Races at the U.S. Cellular Grandstand at noon as well as the Barnes PRCA Rodeo at the fair’s outdoor arena at 6 p.m. (Above) Bille Kobliska, of Sumner, does his best to hang on to his team of thoroughbred horses in the Red M wagon during Sunday’s Chuckwagon Races.
