No more personal references
I duly noted the letters to the editor in Monday’s Reporter criticizing comments I made in a letter previously submitted. They were right. I made unwarranted personal references in a letter on an otherwise unrelated subject.
Not only should I not have done that, but it distracted from the tenure of the message I was trying to convey in the letter. Thank you for calling me on that. I will try to avoid this kind of personal exchange in any future correspondence with the Daily Reporter.
