Rebels shut out by PAC

POCAHONTAS -- Sioux Central couldn't get the offense going on the baseball diamond Friday night, dropping a Twin Lakes Conference battle to Pocahontas 3-0.

The Rebels hit the ball just three times in the game while the Indians scored once in the second, fifth and sixth on Sioux Central's Kal Swanson.

Swanson pitched all six innings, allowing seven hits, five walks and three runs (one earned). He struck out five.

Sioux Central dropped to 8-7 with the loss. They continued play Monday night in Sac City against East Sac County.
