Arnolds Park woman charged after rollover

A 2005 Chevy Malibu was found on its roof in the 3100-mile of Clay County Road B-63. The driver, Kimberly Petersen, of Arnolds Park, was charged with OWI and failure to maintain control.

A late evening, single-car rollover, led to the arrest of 30-year-old Kimberly Petersen of Arnolds Park Wednesday near Webb.

At 11:23 p.m., Clay County deputies responded to the 3100-mile of Clay County Road B-63, where a 2005 Chevy Malibu, owned and allegedly operated by Petersen, was located on its roof. Following an investigation, Petersen was charged with operating while intoxicated, second offense, and failure to maintain control.

She was booked into the Clay County Jail.

The Chevy Malibu was totaled.

Sheriff's deputies were assisted by Webb Fire and Rescue and the Spencer Hospital paramedics.
