The Spencer girls dominated the game Tuesday night in Storm Lake as they dropped the Tornadoes to 0-18 on the season with a 69-27 rout. The Tigers improve to 11-8 overall (7-5 Lakes) and prepare for their second game with No. 1 Western Christian on Friday at the Field House in Spencer.

The Lady Tigers got contributions from everyone in the win, including five players scoring eight points or more. Spencer forced 27 turnovers and committed just four themselves.

Kirstin Martindale scored 16 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Taylor Anderson dished out a career-high 10 assists. Heather Williamson also scored in double figures with 10, while Alexa Allen added five assists and five steals.

Storm Lake was led by Emily Johnson's 10 points. Spencer lead 34-12 at halftime.

Western Christian comes to Spencer with an 18-1 record, having lost its first game on Saturday, Jan. 26 to Bishop Heelan in Sioux City, 70-68. Tip-off is 6:15 p.m. The Wolfpack won 67-40 in Hull on Jan. 4.
