Jackson, Sievers announce June wedding

Doug and Julie Herum, of Estherville, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Bailey Jo Jackson, to Matthew Michael Sievers, son of Mike and Kim Sievers, of Newell.

Bailey is a 2009 graduate of Graettinger-Terril High School and a 2011 graduate of Iowa Lakes Community College. She currently attends Buena Vista University and will receive a degree in Elementary Education. She is employed as a paraprofessional at Albert City-Truesdale Elementary School and is also an assistant at Sylvan Learning Center in Storm Lake.

Matt is a 2006 graduate of Newell-Fonda High School and also attended Iowa Lakes Community College. Matt trucks and works on the family farm near Newell.

The couple is planning a June 1, 2013, wedding at the Zion Lutheran Church in Newell with a reception to follow at the Buena Vista University Grand Ballroom in Storm Lake.
