Joe Gregori, of Estherville, tries his luck at ice fishing on West Lake Okoboji's Smith's Bay. He was only pulling up carp from a hole in the center of the bay, so he moved closer to shore as the afternoon progressed. He measured 13 inches of ice in an area near Okoboji Boat Works.
