Friday, January 11, 2013
The Upper Des Moines Opportunity's Food for Life program met Tuesday in their annual meeting. Their purpose, as part of UDMO, is to "coordinate donated livestock for processing and distribution to needy families." The beef and pork processed through the Food for Life program is added to the food pantry, and distributed in bi-monthly quantities. The board, including its two new members, include Gary Holck, Mark Feldman, Dale Langner, Jerry Crew, Mike White and Keith Kruse. (Photo by Kate Padilla)

  • CCFFL is one of the few things Jerry Crew and I can agree on, lol. This is such a great program and these are some great guys! Congrats to the new members. I'm guessing Mike White and Keith Kruse are the newbies? Good for them! I'm sure the rest of the board is thrilled to have them.
