"I felt we were the more aggressive players and gave great effort in the last four minutes of the game," Sioux Central head coach Stephen Tjaden said. "Our guards made great decisions with the ball and (Austin) Glawe played as good as he has all year."
In addition to the 32 points, on 14-of-26 shooting, Glawe also led with nine rebounds, four assists, five steals and two blocks. Christian Sylvester also made five steals and hit Sioux Central's only 3-pointer of the night.
H-M-S (3-5), who led 31-30 at halftime, was led by Blake Simons with 23 points. The Hawks hit 8-of-16 3-pointers but managed just seven points in the third quarter.
