The park will also have a new logo.
"We have been working with Blink Marketing over the past few months to develop a logo specifically for Arnolds Park Amusement Park," Marketing and Communications Manager Di Lorenzen said.
"After conducting some research, we found tourists were drawn to Arnolds Park because of its location, on the lake and the most popular ride continues to be The Legend roller coaster. These two findings were the focus elements of design for the logo," Jill Harms, president/owner of Blink Marketing, said. "And, since our target market is the kids, we asked them which logo they preferred and this was the one that resonated well with both boys and girls."
There are several facets under the corporate name "Historic Arnolds Park, Inc."; Iowa Great Lakes Maritime Museum, Queen II, Pavilion, Roof Garden, Preservation Plaza and Arnolds Park Amusement Park. This logo will be used specifically for the park's merchandise and promotion materials.
The new logo will be used in Arnolds Park Amusement Parks advertising and incorporated into new signage, clothing and items in their retail stores this upcoming summer. Eventually, this new logo will be seen all around Arnolds Park Amusement Park, replacing the corporate logo.
