Save a life, donate blood

Saturday, November 24, 2012

The Red Cross held a blood drive at Hope Reformed Church Monday and Tuesday. The blood donated will be given "wherever it's needed" around the country, from Hurricane Sandy victims to Spencer Hospital patients. The Red Cross hoped to receive 75 pints of blood on Monday alone, and they received 78 pints from 88 people. By 2 p.m. on Tuesday, they had 31 people coming to donate blood. The Red Cross holds four drives at Hope Reformed Church each year, in February, April, July, and November
