Investigation into fight report continuing

Tuesday, November 6, 2012

Spencer Police Chief Mark Lawson said his department is continuing its investigation regarding a fight that occurred over the weekend at a Spencer apartment building.

Details were limited, but Lawson did confirm one subject was taken to the hospital and treated in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Lawson suggested the story, as it spreads around town, "is really being blown out of proportion."

The police chief did acknowledge that the active investigation is looking at a false report and false information to law enforcement regarding the fight.

Charges are pending on all parties involved Lawson said.

Additional information will become available when the official investigation is completed.

I agree there is no good coming from posting of pictures what so ever, and than to pick and choose who is and who isn't is just mean!
