'Guess the author' at the Spencer library

Tuesday, October 9, 2012

For the entire month of October, the Spencer Library is hosting a "Guess the Author" contest.

Each week will feature a new author and a new opportunity for adults and teens to guess. The authors chosen are all New York Times bestselling authors.

"It's a good way to get to know an author's voice," Library Director Mandie Roberts said at Monday night's library board meeting. "We've got a lot of examples displayed for each author."

Correct answers will be entered into a grand prize drawing, selected at the end of the month.

The winner of the drawing will be able to choose a book to order from the library. The winner can then choose either to keep the book or to donate it to the library.

Sounds like fun!
