On Sunday afternoon, the 25th annual National Life Chain Sunday will occupy sidewalks in over 1,450 U.S. and Canadian cities, as defenders of human life pray for God's divine help to end the legalized killing of pre-born children.

Participation will involve individuals from area churches who believe abortion is wrong for any nation and who come together for a time of solemn prayer, meditation, and public witness.

Spencer participants will gather at 1:30 p.m. at East Leach Park near the skateboard park and tile mosaic. Those who choose to take part will receive information and signs that they may hold for a prayerful hour from 2-3 p.m.

The life chain line will form at the stop light south of the bridge and travel south on both the east and west sides of the street toward the south "T" intersection of Highways 71 and 18.

A nation that kills it's children has no future.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I dedicated you, a prophet to the nations I appointed you.
