Stolen library items sought

Thursday, September 20, 2012

The Spencer Public Library hosted a lock-in on Aug. 18-19 and realized shortly after that an Xbox and Playstation 3 were missing. The items were taken and the library would like them returned. There is a reward for information leading to the recovery of the property and arrest of the parties involved. Please call Text-A-Tip at 712-262-6655.

whoever the lockin members were, they should pay for the missing property or perhaps there should be some supervision of the lockin group? this is a joke, why not take a big deposit or bond in the future if any group wants to use the library for a lockin?sounds like a waste of reward money to me.

I believe it was the library itself hosting the Lock-In for teens who had participated in the summer reading program or some such thing. I'll bet there are middle and high school kids who know who it was. I pray they will find the courage to come forward, or that the people involved will find a way to return the items.
