Fair ends with Foxworthy, Casting Crowns

Tuesday, September 18, 2012

Comedian Jeff Foxworthy closed out the 2012 Clay County Fair entertainment with his unique story-telling and humor. The comedian attracted several thousand. He finished the show with his famous "You may be a redneck if..." skit.

Casting Crowns lead singer Mark Hall hits a note while performing Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Clay County Fair. The Contemporary/Christian Rock band performed for an audience estimated at over 3,100. Attendance for the Grammy- and Dove-Award winning group was among the highest for the fair.

If I had known Jeff Foxworthy was to perform at your fair, I would have made an attempt to be there. I saw him when he was here and never have I ever enjoyed a concert more. Not one vulgar or obscene word, just good clean humor.
