Today is the final day guests at the Clay County Fair will be treated to the rare silverware-based talents of "The Spoon Man," using, of course, spoons. And not just any spoons, but musical spoons. Jim Cruise, known as The Spoon Man, will make his debut performance at the Clay County Fair at 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the U.S. Cellular Plaza. "What I do, I like to call my act a musical interactive comedy," Cruise said. "I enjoy the audience interaction and tie that into my show." Musical spoons, Cruise said, is an old art form, and through his act he is trying to preserve it. "It's an art form that isn't used so much anymore," Cruise said. "I'm trying to keep the art form alive and show future generations the art form." Cruise prides himself on his acts, and he likes to incorporate the audience into the show as much as possible.
