Aquatic Center ends season with tails wagging

Tuesday, August 21, 2012

About 80 dogs came with their owners to the Spencer Aquatic Center on Sunday evening for the sixth annual Doggie Dip. This year's event, sponsored by the City of Spencer and the Spencer YMCA, raised $325 for People For Pets, a non-profit, no-kill local animal shelter. The Doggie Dip is held on the last day the Aquatic Center is open for the season, as a fundraiser for People for Pets. Those who wish to donate throughout the year can do so by calling 580-2738.

I may be partial, but those are some cute dogs :)
