"A fair should be a place for people to showcase their best," Clay County Fair manager Jeremy Parsons said. "This event is just another way for younger fairgoers to do just that."
Kid's Got Talent will be separated into two age groups: grades 4-5 and grades 6-8. Registration for grades 4-5 will begin at 12:30 p.m. with performances beginning at 1 p.m. Grades 6-8 may register beginning at 2 p.m., and performances will begin at 2:30 p.m.
Kids with any type of talent are encouraged to participate. Prizes will be announced at the competition.
Besides Kid's Got Talent, the 4-H Auditorium is full of presentations and entertainment Sept. 10-14. The popular "Chef of the Day" program will also return daily at 11 a.m.
