"We are fortunate to have dedicated bankers like Susan Burdick who has been working for her customers and community for more than a half century," said IBA President and CEO John Sorensen. "Susan Burdick's distinguished tenure of service demonstrates her commitment to serving others − and to making a positive impact in the community and the financial services industry."
Burdick had been serving as the security officer with Northwest Bank until her retirement on Sept. 30. She began her career as a teller and through her commitment, hard work and dedication to serve the Bank's customers both internally and externally, was promoted to various positions within the bank. A few of those positions included: Savings officer, marketing, payroll, deposit products, IRA specialist, and auditor.
"I am honored to be recognized for my dedication to Northwest Bank, my co-workers and my community," Burdick said. "Banking has and will still be my passion because it's really all about people helping people and that's what I love to do. It's easy to come to work when you enjoy what you do and have the opportunity to grow and learn each day and I'm very thankful for the opportunities that I have been given."
"Susan's dedication to the bank and those she served is invaluable. Her years of experience and knowledge have positively impacted the entire organization. We are all very proud of her accomplishment and proud that she has chosen to be a Northwest Bank team member these past 50 years," Greg Post, president of Northwest Bank, said. "We sincerely wish her the best as she enters her very well deserved retirement."
