I'm curious here.

M. Martin Jewelers was broken into...doesn't that mean the shopping center was broken into also? Is there a separate door into the jewelry store from outside of the shopping center?

If a purveyor of jewelry or other valuble merchandise fails to secure it in a safe or other suitable secure location, I have a hard time mustering up any sympathy for them.
