Funeral services for Natalie, 1, of Spencer, the infant daughter of Cory and Bonnie Wells, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, at DaySpring Assembly of God Church in Spencer. Rev. Kevin Grimes will officiate the service.
Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Warner Funeral Home in Spencer, with family present from 5-7 p.m.
Interment will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Spencer.
Natalie Kalynn Wells, the loving daughter of Cory and Bonnie Montenegro Wells, was born Oct. 1, 2009.
Natalie was a beautiful girl who loved dancing and singing to music. She enjoyed playing with her dogs and sister who she idolized and always tried to copy. She was always enthused when called by her nickname "Nana" and couldn't get enough cuddling with people.
Natalie went to be in the arms of Jesus Aug. 2, 2011, when she passed away at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D., at 22 months of age.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Cory and Bonnie Wells of Spencer, Ia.; one sister, Nicole Wells of Spencer, Ia.; one brother, Chase Wells of Peterson, Ia.; five grandparents: Chris Montenegro of Spencer, Ia., Sandy and Wayne Haht of Spirit Lake, Ia., Santana (Kathy) Holcomb of Massachusetts, and Don Wells of Spirit Lake, Ia.; a great-great-aunt, Diane Griffin of Spencer, Ia.; two uncles: "Chip" Holcomb of Spencer, Ia. and David Holcomb of Massachusetts; three aunts: Robin (Ed) Lock, of Emmetsburg, Ia., Shannon Holcomb of Massachusetts, and Laura (Brian) Donnelly of Massachusetts; many cousins, other relatives and friends.
Warner Funeral Home in Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
