Funeral services for Dwayne Craig, 84, of Spencer, formerly of Everly, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Spencer. Rev. William Schreiber will officiate the service.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday, at the Warner Funeral Home in Spencer.

Interment will take place at Lone Tree Cemetery in Everly at a later date.

Mr. Craig passed away Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at Northshire Residence in Spencer.

Dwayne Craig was born May 30, 1926, to Lloyd Albert and Mary Alice Tatman Craig in rural Terril. He attended grade school in Langdon, graduating from Lake Center High School.

When Dwayne retired from the Hartley and Everly Co-op Elevators, he had time for fishing, camping and Saturday night dancing.

Dwayne was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marvin; an infant grandson, Jason Michael Craig; and a beautiful granddaughter, Lacey Jaye Petersen.

Dwayne is survived by his wife, Charlene Fishburn Craig; two sons: Norman and his wife, Sheila and Michael; five daughters: Kathy Decker and Mark Pierson, Karen and Dwain Wise, Cindy Boyles, Teresa and Eddy Hollesen, and Phyllis Petersen and Greg Musser; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; three sisters: Jeannette Trent, Natalie Richards and Joan Tuffs; and a brother, David Craig.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
