Memorial services for Mr. Jeffrey Henaman, 63, of Rossie, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at Warner Chapel in Spencer. Rev. Sara Quigley will officiate the service.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
There will be a military service conducted by the American Legion - Glen Pedersen Post 1 of Spencer at the Warner Chapel following the memorial service.
Following the services, there will be refreshments served at the American Legion in Spencer.
Mr. Henaman passed away Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Neb.
Jeffrey Steven Henaman, the son of Earl Charles and Shirley (Hively) Henaman, was born on Aug. 7, 1947, in Spencer. His childhood and early education years were spent attending many different schools in the communities he lived in.
On Nov. 3, 1970, Jeffrey married Sandra Funk in Sioux Falls, S.D. Following their marriage, they moved to Liberal, Kansas, and then Panama City, Fla., before settling in Spencer, in 1971. Jeffrey worked as a truck driver for Heiter and Schaffer Trucking Companies as well as other places over the forty years he has been a trucker. He was a member of the American Legion in Spencer. In his spare time, he liked to hunt and fish and spend time with his friends and his special dog, Lucy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sandra in 2005; and three sisters: Kathy Reynolds, Lori Meyer and Barbara Henaman.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jennifer Henaman of Pasadena, Texas; his son, Joshua Henaman of Los Angeles, Calif.; two brothers: Jon Henaman of Hartley, and Earl Henaman of Spencer; two sisters: Julie Holding and her husband, Joe of Spencer and Lynn Hefner and her husband, Rick of Spencer; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
