Funeral services for Bonnie Lucille Quirin, 82, of Spencer, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 5, at Warner Chapel in Spencer.

Bonnie will be cremated.

Following the services, there will be a time to visit with the family at Mowery's in Spencer.

Bonnie passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Northshire Residence in Spencer.

Bonnie Lucille Quirin, the daughter of Harry and Rachel (Marrington) Baird, was born on Dec. 13, 1927, in Schaller, Iowa. She received her education in Schaller and graduated from Schaller High School in May of 1945.

She was employed at State Bank of Schaller until 1948, when she married Earlyn Quirin. They farmed north of Alta until moving to Spencer in 1958. A daughter, Sue, and a son, Scott, were born to the couple. Bonnie and Earlyn divorced in 1966.

Bonnie was employed as a bookkeeper at Spencer Plant Foods, American Cyanamid, Spencer Brokerage and lastly H and N Chevrolet-Buick. Due to poor health, she retired and moved to Northshire in August of 2000.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sue and Scott Quirin; and one brother, Bill Baird -- all of Denver, Colo.; several cousins, other relatives and friends.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
