Aline G. Roskens, the daughter of George and Anna (Stille) Kaiser, was born September 7, 1916, in Storm Lake, Iowa. Her early childhood years were spent in the Storm Lake and Schaller area. At the age of 12 her family moved to the Milford area and she graduated from the Okoboji School in rural Milford. On January 1, 1938, Aline married Eite D. Roskens in Milford. Throughout most of their married life they made their home on a farm north of Everly where they farmed. It wasn't until 1987, after 49 years of farming, that Eite and Aline moved to Spencer. Aline was a member of the First Reformed Church near Everly where she served on many committees and was a member of the Ladies Aid. She became a member of the Hope Reformed Church of Spencer after the closing of the First Reformed Church.
Aline moved to Riverview Terrace Assisted Living in Spencer in November 2008, where she made many new friends.
