This clinic is for the general public. We especially encourage parents of children ages nine years old and younger to bring their child in for his/her second dose of vaccine, if the child has only received one dose. To receive a second dose, it needs to be at least four weeks since the initial dose was given. Any student who was absent when vaccines were provided earlier at areas schools are encouraged to attend this clinic as well.
No appointments are necessary. We should have plenty of vaccine. However, it will be offered on a first come, first served basis, so we ask people to be prepared to be patient. Both nasal spray and injectable vaccine will be available. Please print and complete the attached consent form (click to open the pdf file): H1N1 Influenza Vaccine Consent Form
People may find it easiest to park on the north and enter the northwest door, as the former Vanity store location is just down the corridor from that entrance.
More clinics will be scheduled in the near future. The rate of new cases of H1N1 influenza have declined; however, Public Health officials emphasize that it is important for people to get protected with a vaccine when the opportunity is presented. Health officials anticipate another surge of H1N1 influenza cases after the first of the year.
